Wells AvenueMeridian, ID 83642 Map & Directions Elizabeth Hume Real Estate is a complicated transaction. My passion is to make it seem easy. Helping others is an intrinsic part of who I am. Navigating unknown territory can be scary for many people. The knowledge and experience gleaned from both teaching and practicing in the industry is at the disposal of my clients. If I don’t know the answer, I will work hard to find it. Every day my goal is to better than I was the day before. This requires me to think about how and what I do every day. Each day clients give me insights to how I can ask better questions or be better prepared for the next client. I read, listen, examine, ask, and practice every day. If one industry does something, how does than translate to my industry. What is the takeaway? My passion for helping others transitions to my love for teaching. There are many people both in my industry and outside of it who feel they are real estate experts. They profess this to me upon meeting them. My hat is off to them. One of the reasons I entered this industry was my desire to learn. A colleague told me real estate will always evolve and you will always have an opportunity to learn and grow. I have been selling since 2005 and have been a top producer for much of this time. I have won industry awards. (Most recently Realtor of The Year) I sold homes, successfully, through the great recession. I still do not consider myself “The Real Estate Expert”. I am knowledgeable and experienced. There is no part of what I do, that does not involve negotiation. Whether it is convincing someone to use me as their agent, navigating a tricky contract, or convincing a student to consider the point I am working to make in a class. It is my job to find a solution that works for all. Negotiations are not about winning or losing they are about successfully agreeing so both sides win.Part of my passion for helping others involves volunteering for non-profits in my community and industry. I find participating in Board level discussions keeps the scope of my vision broader. What are the issues people really have? How can we make the world a better place? These experiences have pushed me to excel. Cancelations, Refunds & No-ShowsRegistered attendees may cancel course registration before the start of the course for a full refund.
